How to make homemade yogurt

I did use too much yogurt on Afghani dishes …Then I decide to make it at home …

And why not to share it with you guys ..My idea is SOO  simple and easy …The recipe request no special machines …..

If you guys look around by now on your kitchen you can find all of these items.

All you need :

1 gallon milk

1 cup plain yogurt

sterilized jars

wood spoon or whisk

Saucepan

Direction :

Place milk in a large saucepan over medium-high heat; cook until it reaches 180 degrees. Then let the milk cool to 120 degrees

Stir one cup of plain yogurt  into the cooled milk, using a whisk or wood spoon . Stir well to ensure that the yogurt is thoroughly incorporated into the milk.

Pour the milk into jars, and put the lids and bands on.

Wrap jar  in 2 clean kitchen towels, or small blanket  completely covering sides and top. Let stand  in a warm place for about  4 to 5 hours.

Refrigerate it ; about 30 minutes, then you can serve it …I hope you guys enjoy the video thanks for watching :
